Restoring Classic Vehicles: A Personal Project
At K&H Automotive, we love taking on special projects that go beyond everyday jobs. One such project was a 1962 Vespa, a true classic found in a backyard.
After 25 years in storage, it was time to restore it to its original glory. Our team combined expertise and passion to bring the Vespa back to life.
Our team members handled the mechanical work, while others focused on paint and bodywork. The result is a stunning, fully restored classic scooter.
This project reflects the same attention to detail we apply to all classic auto detailing and our classic car care services.
Now proudly on display in our showroom, it’s a perfect example of what expert classic car detailers can do.

This is Al Krebs' 442. This car has achieved the highest award offered by the AACA...Grand National Senior.
Personal Project...1962 Vespa.
While not a typical everyday job at K&H...we still like to work on an interesting project...just for fun.
This Vespa scooter was found in the backyard of Al and Joe Krebs' uncle Rich in 1970. They got it running, and had some fun with it. Now, after 25 years of storage it was time to bring the Vespa back to it's original glory.
K&H staff member Joe Perego handled the mechanical work while fellow employees Marc Dunn and Beau Gurlavich took care of the paint and bodywork. The result is stunning.
